Da'Marrion Fleming | Founder & Executive Director

With over 10 years of experience, Da'Marrion is an active youth advocate in the community, working with after school tutoring programs within the Jefferson County Public School system, directing summer programs initiatives and youth mentor-ships.

Born and raised in Louisville, he strives daily to be a "champion" for the youth engagement efforts within his nonprofit organization and the city he calls home. He has ran successful programs for over 8 years while becoming the largest out of school enrichment program in west Louisville. Impacting over 1,000 youth annually, covering over 75 schools and 21 different zip codes, Sowing Seeds with Faith is on a path to be an instrumental component to Louisville and what it has to offer.

Da'Marrion is a 2006 graduate of Louisville Male High School, and 2023 Male High Hall of Fame inductee. After graduation, he joined the Army Reserves and proudly completed his service in 2014. During his military service, Da'Marrion received his associate degree in communication from Tennessee State University and his bachelor degree in business management and marketing from the University of Louisville. He is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and was inducted into the 2019 BMe Fellows National Organization, 2021 he was awarded the Omega Psi Phi “Manhood of the Year” Award, 2023 was named “Community Organization of the Year,” 2024 was awarded “Making the Difference” award of the year. Sowing Seeds was also nominated for the “Changing the Narrative” Award, from Metro United Way in 2024. DaMarrion was also awarded the Inaugural “Joe Hammond Award.”

Da'Marrion is a proud father of one daughter (Anaya) and three young boys, Chayce, Josiah and Noah. He dedicates his time, talent and treasure, to the well-being of his children. Da'Marrion is a member of Burnette Avenue Baptist Church and attributes his success to his faith in God and the unwavering support of his family and friends.

Davin Belt | Program Director

 Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Davin Belt understands the meaning of community and change. With Sowing Seeds with Faith, she embodies these values, dedicating herself to making a difference in the lives of youth.

Davin is a Louisville Central High alumna, graduating with honors in 2008 from the Law and Government magnet program. She furthered her education at Eastern Kentucky University, where she discovered her passion for working with children. While attending EKU, she volunteered at a local community center. She graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, minoring in Sociology. 

After graduation, Davin launched her career at Humana but soon pivoted to become a JCPS substitute teacher. She quickly fell in love with working with children, which led to her joining Sowing Seeds with Faith in 2017. She started as a camp teacher and support team member and, through hard work and passion, became the organization’s Dean of Students in 2019. In 2023, Davin became the Program Director, and she has worked fearlessly to make programming better for the youth and community.

Davin is a caregiver, aunt, daughter, cousin, and matriarch of her community. She is a hard worker, passionate, dedicated, and a mentor. She chose the youth that chose her and has never turned back. She is deeply committed to her faith, believing that no weapon formed against her will prosper. She is also a member of her home church, Bates Memorial Baptist Church. 

Davin is a new mom to Atlas Ann, embracing the joys of motherhood while continuing to serve as a leader and mentor to the next generation.


Na’Kiya Perry | Dean of Students

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Na’Kiya is a proud alumna of Fisk University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Sociology in May 2023. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences.

Her journey with Sowing Seeds with Faith began in the spring of 2022 when she volunteered for their HBCU tours, sparking a deep connection with the program. She has loved working with the organization ever since, which led to her current role as Dean of Students in October 2024. In this role, she is dedicated to youth development, mentorship, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Her areas of passion include public health, education equity, and community empowerment.
